It just seems like something isn't right when you look around the Central Michigan football practice and not see Dan LeFevour leading the offense. But, that is the case this spring for the Chippewas and now CMU must turn to a new leader, and that leader is likely to be redshirt sophomore, Ryan Radcliff. "It is exciting. The guys have been working hard all winter and we are just ready to get out and play football," Radcliff said of starting spring football.

LYONS, Neb.— Did something historic happen in Ankeny, Iowa last week, or was it much ado about nothing? Over 600 farmers and ranchers from at least a dozen states gathered at the Des Moines Area Community College's FFA Enrichment Center for the first in a series of six agricultural antitrust and competition workshops to be hosted by USDA and the Justice Department across the nation in 2010.

PLANS to turn a partially demolished old building into flats and a hotel are being recommended for approval. If passed, the proposals would see the Esplanade House site, in Eastern Esplanade, Southend, revamped by Langly Developments, owned by the Robert Leonard Group. It wants to build a mixed use development, with 216 flats, a 64-bedroom hotel, restaurant and shops.

At one point, Dan Tillema was wondering if his season was over. An torn anterior cruciate ligament injury around Christmas had the sophomore forward struggling to return to the rotation of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point men's basketball team. Tillema eventually overcame the injuries, and the Pointers were glad to have him back for the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Dan is a really, really outstanding player off the bench for us   -Bob Semling
